January 2005
Over the last six months there have been overseas trips for various members and a need for patience as marketing strategies are put in place here in Australia and abroad. While all of this goes on, the writing of new material never ends. However, we are glad to be in touch with you all in cyber world with lots of news, a revamped website, discussions and downloads.
The Album
It is still a little early talking about an album release, but emaar is certainly proud of the quality and quantity of work we have produced over the last two years. Our record label is genuinely excited in the knowledge that the album track listing will comprise 10-12 very strong tracks. The next six months will concentrate on marketing and making the next single the killer song that sells emaar and our album to the world.
The Next CD Single
emaar know that the choosing of the next single is mightily important. It will be backed up by a video clip and will need to show that emaar is a versatile entity that can mix it with the best in the world of pop as well as dance. We have three tracks that could be a next single as well as some new ideas that sound very promising.
April 2005
All focus at this moment in time is on the second CD single. Since December '04, all energies have been directed towards the writing of new material.
We are of the opinion, that with some new songs combined with older favourites emaar will have a larger pool of songs to select from. This would then mean that the second single is being chosen from as strong and versatile a list as possible.
You will all be able to hear the 12 Top Trax on the this site's Samples page. However, new tunes will be listed under works in progress and are knocking on the door for entry into the 12 Top Trax listings!! Look for samples of "How Long", "Boy", "Start Again" and "New Day" and have a listen..
emaar would love feedback. If any of you feel that one of the new tracks is good enough for inclusion in the 12 Top Trax........................ then we would love to hear from you. Who knows, the choosing of emaar's next single could come down to what YOU might have to say about your favourite track!!
